The lyrics of this song were actually written when I was 17. The files I made for the song didn't fit well. It wasn't until that day in March of 2014, I found myself in Las Vegas, Nevada. I was waiting in the McCarren International airport, and I was playing around with some ideas.
"Starcrossed", the beat, is a derivative of "Experiment". But both fit each other like a key. "Experiment" comes first because it is prideful, aggressive, sexual, and abusive. "Starcrossed" is loving, caring, and affectionate. Yin and Yang.
